Welcome to Stride Again, Equine Rehabilitation
■
Stride again is an equine rehabilitation centre, based in Gloucestershire. With over 50 acres of grassland, we provide a safe and professional environment for horses in need of rehabilitation, and rest. We have a modern barn, housing up to 6 spacious 15x12ft stables, a full-size outdoor arena, 620 meter canter track, 5 horse covered walker, sand and rubber round pen, 24/7 CCTV and secure individual turnout paddocks. Our centre is designed with equine welfare at its heart.
Whether your horse requires post-operative care or a structured rehab programme. We are happy to discus with your vet a rehabilitation plan to suit every horse and owner.
What we offer
We offer bespoke rehabilitation programs tailored to your horse’s individual needs, whether they are returning from injury or simply require time, care, and structured turn-out to recover fully. Nestled in the Cotswold countryside, our peaceful setting provides the space, facilities, and expert supervision needed to give your horse the best possible chance to heal, rebuild strength, and regain confidence.

Alex Stokes
Alex has been working with horses for over 40 years ranging from Show Jumpers, Team Chasers, Hunters, Polo Ponies to Mares and Foals.
We have the time and knowledge to put into helping horses recover from injury. Our son has been playing polo around the world for the last 10 years, as a family we have been the team keeping the ponies at the peak of fitness during their playing season. Some of our ponies have been playing for at least 10 years.
We always take great pride in caring for horses recovering from injury and enjoy seeing them return to the disciplines that they love. This is why Stride Again was created.
